System Requirements


  • A minimum of 8MB of DRAM
  • Release C or later of the MC88200 cache and memory management unit.
  • MVME350 firmware revision 2.6 or later.
  • A terminal attached to the console port of the M8120, MVME181, MVME187, or MVME188 processor board. This terminal is required when booting the system from disk.
  • Release E.2 or later of the MC88100 processor with the following ROM firmware version:

    *** MVME188 with ECC memory requires Bug ROM 5.2 or higher.
